John Terry’s crime is that he is white and working class. Meanwhile back in the real world some of the greatest racists and homophobes are buying up premier league clubs and no one is saying boo….Working class supporters are no longer wanted at the grounds and few can afford the admission ……..many more can’t afford Sky Sports….
What Terry should do is convert to Islam , that way he could spout racist and homophobic filth to his heart’s content and no one would mind…..How long are british football fans going to tolerate this ? For how long are they going to continue putting money in the pockets of those who obviously have a contempt for the working class ?
DAB RADIO IRELAND ROBERTS SOLAR DAB DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING

A few days ago I went out and bought myself a Roberts DAB Solar radio. I already have two old valve radios and as I live in a one room flat that’s more than enough but I like radio and figured it was time for me to update to DAB. The fact that this model is solar powered was very much a plus. I handed over 130 euros in Peats and have been kicking myself ever since. The radio is fine , it’s the DAB (Ditital Audio Broadcasting ) bit that’s a problem. A problem in Ireland that is. There are four DAB stations along with RTE 1 RTE 2 RNG etc but there is nothing worth listening to beyond junk music. Unfortunately I didn’t realise that you couldn’t get BBC or any other station for that matter so I am stuck with pure dross.
The stations really are terrible. Bland. If your a fan of BBC World Service / Radio Four and that type of thing then keep your money in your pocket and don’t go for DAB because DAB in Ireland just means BAD. I am literally kicking myself. $130 spent and nothing to listen to apart from Joe Duffey.

Does The Internet Make People Aggressive ?

I was browsing the Internet just now and came across a blog in which a woman finished up a post by asking , ” Does the Internet make you aggressive”. Needless to say I couldn’t resist leaving an aggressive comment. Actually what she asks is if the Internet facilitates those who are rude or angry……but it’s much the same thing. Well , it’s more or less the same thing…..kind of. But either way I don’t care what you illiterate morons think……get a life , have you nothing better to do than just sit there aimlessly reading some fools blog ?

The Dublin Developement Authority’s Docklands site just north of the River Liffey is made up of banks , finance houses , insurance companies, gated apartment blocks and “No Trespassing” signs. This , we are told is a three way partnership between private enterprise , the state and the local community but it’s the management company who decide where you may or may not walk. There is provision for social housing here but don’t expect to see the great unwashed sipping coffee at any of the many upmarket sidewalk cafes. This is a landscape both brutal and vulgar in equal measure. It’s also the sort of place that almost invites a terrorist attack.
All you need is a kitchen , a few bottles of cleaning materials and an Internet connection to check to see how it’s done……There are no shortage of people out there who feel marginalised , who no longer vote and probably don’t even read a newspaper…..(Why read a newspaper if it’s only going to tell you your a ‘racist’ or that your just stupid?)….and most of these have a kitchen. Then all you have to do is wait for the right moment (timing is everything)….try to get them on a bad day , a day when they feel even less wanted than usual and then ask them to come for a walk down Docklands…….It’s a simple as that. Just sit back and let nature take it’s course.
I was down there myself a few days ago so take it from me. If you want to push someone over the edge then this is the place to do it. Mind you , I’m not suggesting that you actually do any of this but I’m sure someone out there will ……..They’re building an extension to Docklands on the Pigeon House peninsula so I figure that just a few more “No Trespassing” signs and some more high gates should do the trick…
But either way , when the bombs do go off at least you’ll know who to blame…..

I have just bought a new , second hand car . A 1996 V W Polo in less than mint condition. It was all I could afford at 1, 800 Euros. I really don’t know if I was robbed or not , I’ve no real idea of the going rates for second hand cars. Like all modern cars it’s quite bland in appearance and is pretty much devoid of anything like style…….when I speak of modern cars I mean anything manufactured since the early 1960′s….

In the last few weeks I’ve been kind of busy which for me is a novelty. I’ve bought my new laptop and started my new blog . But that’s about it. I’m one of those rare people who do nothing and do it seven days a week. I’m still on the lookout for readers and ‘clicks’ , all to no avail and as I’m much to lazy to actually work at it so I’m doomed to failure. I wander around Dublin with my camera taking the occasional photo , the above one was taken in Herbert Park.
For anyone who might be interested my camera is a Kodak Easyshare p850.

This short post is for those few who may not have heard about Skype. Skype is an internet phone system that allows you to make free phone calls to anyone else who has Skype and is online at the same time as you are. You can also make cheap , really cheap calls to anyone’s land line through it. When I say cheap I really mean cheap. We are all familiar with how phone companies pester us with offers of cheap rates and for the most part are left totally confused by the various offers. You would need to be a mathamathician to actually work these offers out but this is not the case with Skype.
I should say here that Skype is just on of many versions of VOIP. To check out Skype just click http://www.skype.com/intl/en/helloagain.html. You can pick up a hand set for as little as 15 euros and it is just a matter of downloading Skype and plugging your handset into your computer. No matter how light your phone use is it will pay for itself usually within a week or two. It is such a cheap form of comunication that it makes no sense not to have it.
So if your not signed up then do so soon and save a small , or not so small fortune.
