St. Stephens Green Dublin: Reflections in the Pond
June 8, 2007
The pond in St. Stephens Green in Dublin is as good a place as any in which to clear you mind of your troubles. As the Americans would say , “Have a nice day”. And while I’m at it , if you have Flash Player installed you might like to watch and listen to this guy playing guitar on Dublin’s Grafton Street.

I love St. Stephens Green and its lovely pond. I was there 2 years ago and can’t wait to get back to Ireland. Dublin is a great place to vist for a few days, however I love Beara and Dingle areas of Western Ireland. I am going to try and get to Ireland again this fall for my 7th visit. Let’s meet up at a Pub for a Kilkenny or Murphy’s. I am even thinking of eventually retiring at least part time in Ireland, but now that the real estate in your lovely country (home of my ancestors) has sky rocketed I may just have to lease a little cottage in the country.
Love you blog!
cheers

Thank you for your comment. Dublin is as you say a nice place to visit and indeed to live in if life is otherwise good for you. But in the last 15 years or so it has become literally a banana republic. If you have money it’s find but if you don’t then you can go to hell. ….If I had somewhere else to go I’d be gone by now.
Tell everyone in the USA that I said hello.
