After being interested in the case for quite a while I bought “The Gates of Janus” which made me write to him (I had been wondering whether to or not) and I can’t say I “soothed his ego” in any way. I was supposed to receive a very lengthy and polite reply however. If anyone reading this has wrote to him, have you ever mentioned the murders?

Actually, I did write to Ian once, after I read his book, “The Gates Of Janus”. I have always found him a very intelligent and fascinating person. I was thrilled to receive a written response from him which was extremely polite and well written. I would like to see him write another book. I thoroughly enjoyed his analyses of other serial killers. I would like to see his treatise on the Bernardo-Homolka case as it closely parallels his own.
