Silly Old Twit

As I didn’t have a lot to do today I decided to check out some of the features of my new WordPress. One that caught my attention was the thing about importing posts from Blogger. So I gave it a try. If you have time to spare you can click on any of the categories on my side bar and see some of my old blogger posts. It’s worth thinking about importing as it means your old stuff will get a second life so to speak as they will be listed under the tags pages in WordPress. And they will also of course turn up in your feed. It’s also handy if your a bit lazy like me. But a word of caution here , make sure you check them for the content first as you might be quite suprised at what you wrote in the past. I found a post I had written about Billy Fury a long time ago and had quite forgotten about , does anyone out there even remember him?. Still I kept it in and didn’t delete it as I like Billy and thought perhaps that it might give pleasure to somebody out there.
I tried some of the other WordPress features like adding a stats widget to the sidebar but when I try everything else goes west. I think a lot of people get more pleasure out of tweaking their blog than actually writing in it but I’m not one of them. Still , where would we be without our blogs ?
Mind you , you can’t believe everything you read in them. Not that I’m having a go at anyone you understand. ( he he he).
